The Fashion Spot's seasonal Runway Diversity report came out on Thursday. It showed that the Fall 2018 season is the most diverse in fashion history! Models of color booked 32.5% of the castings, a 2.3% increase from Spring 2018. Anok Yai also became the first Black woman to open a Prada show since Naomi Campbell in 1997. Plus Comme des Garcons runway had Black models in their show, for the first time in 20 years. Kenyan model Shanelle Nyasiase walked 43 shows. There was also more transgender models—64 total, up from 12 last year.
