Whether you have back pain or just want to improve your overall spine and side body flexibility, these are some of my favorite poses that target this areas. You'll want to have two blocks (or books) close by for this practice or some dense cushions. We'll play with lateral flexion, extension and spinal rotation. This class is suitable for all experience levels, beginners welcome! What is Yin Yoga? Yin Yoga is a slow, soothing and meditative practice that aims to balance out the yang energy in our lives. It targets the deep connective tissues (bones, joints, fascia & ligaments) in the body. It also intends to stretch & stimulate different acupressure points from Traditional Chinese Medicine.
